Tempe, Arizona, residents gathered outside Starbucks to urge the world’s largest coffee chain to ditch the plastic.
At the demonstration, Julie Morrison, founder of Plastic Free Phoenix, and Arizona State Representative Stacey Travers spoke about the need to ditch the plastic for the sake of our personal, communal, and planetary health.
